amanda charge is a local artist living in drury, new zealand; her studio high on drury hills with an expansive view to the north.

she has always been inspired by the beauty of nature, often using found objects from the beach or forest as the link to creating.  naturally tumbled pebbles carefully collected over years from remote favourite beaches are wrapped in sterling silver to form unique and stunning necklaces, or the organic shape of a skeleton leaf will be used as inspiration for hand forged silver jewellery.

amanda entered auckland’s elam school of fine arts specialising in photography, but in recent years her focus has moved to painting and reengaging with jewellery making.
