Judi Hadfield

judi hadfield has had a long fascination for glass both domestic and decorative.  beautiful shapes, clarity of colour and the play of light on the surface.  she was fortunate to have the opportunity to learn the art of casting glass,  with all its processes, intricacies and technicalities. creating an end product, an artwork in glass.

judi’s work to date has explored the shapes and textures in nature and how they interpret into glass.

Her current work continues this exploration, adding a new dimension, using mixed colour to better reflect variations in the shades of nature. the results are unexpected and exciting.
