EMMA ALEXANDRA

emma alexandra is an artist born in aotearoa new zealand.  she has spent the last few years living between ōrere point, new zealand and italy.

she learnt painting from her aunt, an artist who lived in san gimignano, italy.

after studying at elam for a year, she then continued to study painting & printmaking at an art academy in florence, italy.

emma draws her inspiration from impressions of nature, people and the land.  she is drawn to mysteries of nature, both everyday rhythms and natural phenomena.

emma has exhibited in new zealand and italy, and twice as a parkin drawing prize finalist.
