Helen Morrison

helen morrison is a local clevedon artist, influenced by expressionism.

her oil paintings reflect her love of family and the surrounding landscape and she strives to bring movement, feeling and emotion into each of her works.

having previously studied design, helen currently enjoys weekly mentoring sessions with local artist katie blundell and also enjoys the social connection with other artists who attend.

helen has a home studio, open by appointment and for the last two years has taken part as an artist in the  clevedon art trail open studio weekend.

currently she is working on a series of local landscapes, inspired by her connection with the land around her.

in june 2023 she has her first solo exhibition at the franklin arts centre, pukekohe
